The Space

For us the property has become a place to share with family, friends & others. It has good proximity to many local attractions but has the serenity of rural living.  The property is off the beaten track but close enough to civilisation that you can hop into the local village in 15 minutes. It has lovely views from pretty much everywhere and quiet spaces to suit everyone. Take a long walk on rolling pastures or a bush walk through nature.

If you’re after a serene getaway, or work accommodation that’s like a holiday – this is it!

Lily Dam

Saw Mill West

Camping @ 2 Sites

Lily Dam &

Saw Mill West

A combination of open paddocks surrounded by bush and dams with beautiful backdrop views, and plenty of wildlife. It's all there to be enjoyed: starry nights, crisp, often foggy mornings and bushwalking. Birdlife abounds as do the wallabies and frogs and yabbies in the dams.

There are sometimes cows on the property and often a horse or two.

Both sites have Fire Pits; Fires are only allowed in the designated areas. No open Fires in Fire Season (generally 1 March to 1 September).

It's a 'Leave no Trace' rule...

  • Must BYO Toilet

  • BYO water is essential

  • Behaved Canine friends (on leads) are welcome; $15 fee applies per night per animal.

NB's

Heaps of parking, Caravans are welcome, and we’ll be happy to help with other things you may need.

It's imperative you give us an accurate ETA on the day of your arrival. It’s a large property and someone needs to be on hand to show you where to park, what areas you can access, and where lights, water and amenities can be found.

If you’re into horses & want to BYO, that can happen by arrangement! There’s plenty of space for horse riding. No Crofton here!

The Regular Residents

A Kelpie (Rossi) who loves kids, usually a few chooks, sometimes an agisted cow or two, possibly a pony, and all the native critters; Birds, Goannas, Sugar Gliders, Echidnas, Wallabies, and yes... Snakes (so do bring sensible footwear)!

Your Pets

Canine Friends are OK, but the host MUST be notified on booking; $15 fee applies per night per animal. On-lead is a must until introductions are made. We have many critters, and we like to make sure your pet(s) is not going to harm ours, especially our chooks! We are happy to incarcerate them (the chooks) in their palatial home if need be.
